Have you ever felt like there so much piling up on you, you feel like your drowning or can’t catch your breath?… I have, many many times, and not being very conscious of the reality im in, I lose myself, in the most literal sense I lose who I am, I do things id never actually do. If your not a religious person, I’m not going to tell you to imagine anything else or something as such, I’m going to ask you to remove judgement and open your mind here, because this could be that revelation you’ve been waiting for, ever wonder why a new Escalade doesn’t satisfy after a week, or why after that week you can’t just drive it.. ohhh no how could you, now you have to make an entrance or whip out the shades to get the looks, ive done it. What about the porn, this too, the games, yes, endless videos, yes, money, also yes. All these things, or perhaps a select few a least have held power over us In the past, consumed us even, for me that was the case. Its truly awful, but there’s a reason they don’t satisfy, there reason we guilt, a reason we love, see, feel, breath, and joy, because of our father Jesus Christ, a little disclaimer here, continues in next paragraph.

For my whole life I was in church, not always by choice but was always 9/10 Sundays in a church building, started catholic, then baptist, then classical southern baptist. For a long time I was asked what we are, response? Christians, with a Christian “faith”, and a Christian calling. Little history here, the “Christian” name was never appointed nor endorsed by God himself, look at the Bible, ain’t there more than three times and never did Jesus himself say it. Subsequently, or secondary, im not very fond of Religion, and yes there is a difference between a follower of Jesus the father, and a Christian, christians supposedly read the Bible and follow the word, plenty of times they do, many cases they don’t, they rely on the pastor, the head of a church. Know what a pastor is?, sheep guardian, and leader. That’s traditionally what a sheep pastor is, is the church setting, the people in the pews are like the sheep, they must follow their pastor, my problem is nowadays the qualifications of a pastor are found in a mere “Degree”, and not in faith, that’s when there’s a problem, when their testament of faith is found in being “good”, never “cursing”, never “cheating”, etc etc… good enough to pass as a good and mature citizen, but very discouraging as a leader of faith. Religion is a creation of man, yes, man who also build creations of mass destruction, same one, man is not perfect, God never called for religion, or for man to dictate faith, we called for his word to be spread to all corners of the world, for you to FOLLOW HIM!, that’s all, not easy, but also not religion. Another fun fact, ever heard of the crucifixion of Jesus? Know who called for his death louder than any other person in the crowd? answer, the Pharasees, religious leaders, because according to their own leaders, this Jesus is simply “not” who he said he was, turns out he was, but religion didn’t really give a flying toss about it. Don’t let what people say on behalf of Jesus tell you who he is, not for a second, first off pray, talk to him from a place of humility, don’t ask, don’t beg for anything or for change, talk, he listens, and when you were blind, you shall now see. The only place you must learn of Jesus and listen to him, is through the Bible, but primarily, pray, never stop, he is a person near you, so don’t make it impossible for yourself to get even a single word out or to mentally speak to him, he knows, for he knew you before you were sown together in your mothers womb, do you not think he will know what you need before you even notice?

Ive had many moments, where I almost made lifelong mistakes, in the sense that in my memory id be tortured every day by remembering. It’s important to have confidence in yourself, but don’t ever think it’s because of you that the world will kneel at your words, but because of who sends you, Jesus. People ignore this all the time, think they have together, can you think of anyone?, guarantee you, they don’t have it together, the source of strength and power is Jesus Christ. You read that last sentence I imagine and wonder, strength and power, yes, but you receive this and all else out of humility and faith, its perfect listen up. Humility is having a modest view of ones self, not me me me, but what can I do to help?… Then Faith, by having faith this means you recognize and accept Gods power, you recognize his control, and you place your trust in him, meaning you don’t worry that what you do isn’t enough or that you’ll starve, no no no, its I do my part, and all else unto God. Don’t want to drown?, I just gave you a key on how swim right here.

This is an image of the Shroud of Turin, look at that face, he was crucified then wrapped in this burial cloth, the image of his face frozen in time. Where else would this come from, why else would 500 plus people confirm his death, why else would this person give his life for you, talk to him, he’s waiting, but speak from the your heart, not your mind, be humble and place your faith in him, not yourself or anyone else, look at that face agin, this is where people get his face from.
